Preparing Your Device for In-Home Support

Before the technician arrives at your home, there are several steps you should complete to ensure you are safe and prepared, allowing the technician to do the best job possible.

  • 1. Please wipe down your product so it is clean and sanitary.
  • 2. Make sure there is enough space around your product. Appliances should not be stacked on one another.
  • 3. Please remove your TV from the wall before the technician arrives.
  • 4. Have your proof of purchase available for the engineer, if possible.

Samsung Account Requirements

A Samsung Account is required for network-based smart services, including streaming apps and other smart features. A separate device (such as a computer or mobile device) may be necessary to create or log in to a Samsung Account. Without an Account login, only external device connections (e.g., via HDMI) and terrestrial/over-the-air TV (for TVs with tuners) are available. If you do not have a Samsung Account, you can easily create one here — it’s free to sign up; terms apply.
